Where’s that traffic coming from?

A couple of months back, in my Who’s visiting me post, I looked at how I could track visitors to my site.  Since then, I’ve been keeping an eye on where my traffic comes from, and it’s proved that nothing is as important as getting involved with individuals who already get a lot of traffic.

Gadget crazy

The facility to add gadgets to Gmail has been there for a while now, but I only appreciated it’s usefulness when I installed the gadget I talked about in my post about Yoics.

The ability to connect remotely to your computer is becoming less necessary with improvements in webmail, better online storage of documents etc, but still there are times when it is much easier to be able to access a program or document on your home PC when you are elsewhere.

5 most annoying colleague questions

If you are anything like me, when one of your colleagues has a problem on their computer, you are the one to get called over.
Many of the questions are very frustrating and happen time and time again – my top five most annoying questions are:

Google Twit?

It’s being reported that Google are in late stage talks to buy Twitter.  Tradtionally Google have used the acquisition of startup services as a successful route to gaining additional services and technologies.  Just look at this list to see where some of the big Google services such as Blogger came from.
