As more and more of our lives involve being online, there are lots of aspects to consider in terms of our safety and security.

The safety of our money is one of the most publicised aspects as each time there is a notable breach of security of a bank’s online services many people will worry that their money is not safe with that bank.

Something which I’ve considered for a while is the safety of having one’s personal information all over the web.  I tend to be fairly cautious.  For example, I don’t use my full name on this web site, although it wouldn’t be that difficult to find it.  If I’m on an online forum, I’m careful not to identify my exact home location.  I don’t post identifiable personal photos.  Continue reading Who am I?
