In these days of recession and general economic distress, there are understandably fewer new startup companies emerging, even in the tech world. 

However, there are still a few emerging.  Plinky has just launched it’s new service, which is yet another social networking platform but one with a nice twist.  Plinky poses a new question each day to it’s members, so all the posts are each individuals answers to a particular topic.  None of the content is likely to be earth shattering, but that’s part of it’s charm, as it’s simple amusement.
